This is a 6 page fiction comic drawing entirely with pencil for Issue 3 of Pencil Magazine. It was partially inspired by Monsters: A fan’s dilemma by Claire Dederer, particularly its interrogation of abandonment for the sake of art and what that looks like when it comes to non-male artists.
